With this entry I put an end to telling my life to an imaginary audience. My last topic is something that I don't find easy to talk about but I think that it is really important: how to have dreams and not die trying.
As everybody I have dreams that I wanna see come true, some are easy goals to reach, as the adoption of my cat that I told you about before, and others are harder and take more time.
I really wish that I get to have the job that I want, and in order to do that I have to study a career. A career that it is not easy to study or get in. Also, I would really like to travel and have a nice life. This things are not simple, and they require work, and it can be so stressful sometimes feeling that you're not getting anywhere no matter how hard you try.
Honestly I think that if you keep constantly thinking about the goal that you want to reach you're going to lose the journey. You have to enjoy life while you work to make your dreams come true because you never know if that dream is not going to be as fulfilling as you thought I'd be.
Nowadays my closest in time dream is go trekking in Torres del Paine. You must think that it is nothing compared to getting into med school or being a doctor, or living in Italy as I have always dreamed. But no dream is bigger or better than another, if it makes you happy you work for it until you can do it.
Do I get scared? All the time. I get scared that my dreams won't come true. I get scared that I'm gonna have to find something else to do because I have dreams that are too hard to accomplish. But, you know what? I don't like being scared and you shouldn't be scared either. It is not the end of the world. You can always find something else to do and it can make you even happier than the previous thing.
So, how to have dreams and not die trying? Just have them, work for them, and if it doesn't work out you try again. Because that's life. You try, you fall and you try again.
I know we can do this. We can dream and succeed.
